Pure Silver .999 Teapot for Gong Fu Tea Brewing.  Expertly crafted in Yunnan (Qujing County) this pure silver teapot combines function and beauty with an elegant flair.  Crafted by Yunnan's most skilled silversmiths in Qujing county (a place with more than 1500 years history in smithing fine silver objects), this teapot will perfect your gong fu cha tea brewing experience!  It is believed that silver provides the best possible medium for water and tea to meet.  This is .999 silver, which means it's 99.9 percent silver!  The teapot has been tested before sale to ensure a good lid fit and flow.  Have you ever had your heart broken by dropping your favorite clay teapot?  Not to worry, this teapot will never break even if you drop it!  You'll be able to pass it down to your children!

Beautiful made, i can only recommend

"First, the packaging and Sending, is second to none. Service was extremely kind to me in assuring me the Sending would be without problems. It was indeed! The teapot came in a gorgeous wooden box. Perfectly packed in lots of bubble plastic. The teapot itself is quite heavy and really beautifully made. Normally i use yixing teapots, but I really wanted to experience sterling silver. So i made my first pot with some organic Jin Xuan oolong, to see what the tea tastes without the effect of the clay. It did not disappoint."

Teapot/investment

"I bought this when it was 500 bucks, and now its 700 just 4 months later! The price of the silver alone is nearly as much as the teapot itself so it feels like I got it for free!"

Piece of art - handle with care

"I bought mine a couple of years ago but did not leave a review so after extensive testing here it is. This teapot is particularly good to brew “bright” teas and floral teas, as it will not mellow the flavor like a clay pot. When compared to a gaiwan, this pot has a better extraction I suppose due to the heat retention of the metal, so brews must be shorter. This particular model has a metallic knob so it must be handled with a cloth or the tea towel, otherwise expect some burned fingers. Fast pour and a joy to look at. Mine has only stained on the inside, the outside looks shiny and brand new. I keep mine in a ziplock when not in use since it rusts easily."

Xi shi tea pot

"Bought this beautiful well crafted silver tea pot 2 month ago. Have had several gonfu sessions with different teas ( also white and green ). Always a joy. I love it. Very robust and good companion on travels."

Encapsulates the beauty of Xi

"Encapsulates the beauty of Xi Shi, one of the 4 greatest beauties in China. She would probably agree to do a product endorsement if she was alive. Love the all-silver teapot in its xishi body."
