This is a pressing of Ma Hei Village raw pu-erh tea. It's spring 2018 picked tea pressed in early March of 2019.
Ma Hei Village is an Yi Wu mountain area tea village that is often considered to be the classic Yi Wu style of large leaf pure assamica pu-erh tea for which Yi Wu is so well-known. Good tea from Ma Hei Village that is in the affordable range is very elusive, so Xiaguan has really hit the mark with this lovely production!
Sweet, thick and grassy with long lasting steeps makes this an excellent tea for drinking now or aging longer term.
