Yi Pin Tang is a small tea factory located in Menghai town and is run by yet another ex-Menghai tea factory manager. The tea is pressed entirely from wet-piled Menghai material. The degree of wet piling is medium leaving room for future improvement while preserving the original “cha qi” contained in the leaves. This tea was fermented in 2007 and pressed in the beginning of 2008. It was stored in hot Jinghong from 2008 until 2010 and then Kunming thereafter. After 10 years of age it's a fantastically smooth ripe tea that brews a nice dark wine red color and is smooth and sweet.
