A small harvest of just 23 kilograms of tea from wild tea trees in a forest setting in the Bang Dong area of Lincang.

True wild tea with a full-bodied and textured mouthfeel. Cooling effect on the palate and a long-lasting mouth-feel.

A complex masterwork

"One of the most complex and fresh tea's I've had to date. The complexity in tastes is immense, it feels minty and camphor like in the mouth with a velvity sweetness. The brew is dark amber/golden when brewed in a clay pot, with deep rich earty tastes with many subleties buried inside. I personally actually prefer it steeped with a bit less than 5g to really bring out those buried tastes. One of my perennial favourites!"

"Got a sample of this alongside some other young sheng puerhs. This one has a really distinct sencha note in the smell of the wet leaf that is (to a lesser extent) also present in the taste giving the tea some nice umami. I would describe the flavour profile as fruity and cooling. The body or „general taste“ of the tea isnt particularly special but the high notes are superb. Buy if you are looking for a highly aromatic experience on top of a solid base. Price to quality ratio: fitting, neither over nor underpriced Personal rating 96/100 (based on a blind tasting), i cannot say anything bad about the tea and am really enjoying the experience Thanks Scott for always curating these gems for us to try ❤️"

"Amazing tea but not sure if I would pay 90+ for it. Still a close one and I may still get one anyway cuz it's a really good one for a young tea."

Orchid/flower aroma and strong taste

"The mouthfeel and texture is really great. Tea is still really green so it's hard to say it's "true taste", but I am really pleased. Reminds me of a flower garden. It also has a nice sweetness. The tea isn't too compressed so it's easy to break off a piece :)"
