Bai Hua Tan village (百花潭) is in the Yi Wu Mountains near Tong Qing He 铜箐河. The altitude of Bai Hua Tan is about 1700 meters (quite high for Yi Wu).   Bai Hua Tan village area is next to a small lake which is at the confluence of three rivers (Tong Qing, Jinguang, and Bulong rivers) and surrounded by steep mountains on all sides (where the tea grows).

The cake we've pressed is composed of first flush spring 2020 tea leaves harvested trees ranging in age from 60 to 200 years.  The teas range in size and shape and grow naturally without fertilizers or pesticides.

Bai Hua Tan tea is sweet, aromatic and smooth, but full-bodied with long-lasting mouth-feel and friendly cha qi.

Balanced and delicious

"What a great tea. I know lots of teas from Yiwu tend to be soft and sweet, so I wanted to push this one and see how it tastes when brewed super strong. Mind-blowing! Strong but sweet. Thick and oily. Fuity, fresh, and the aftertaste is very long. The cha qi is relaxing, makes me happy. 100% recommend it!"

fruity explosion

"A powerful tea to add to your collection. Packing a punch in terms of flavor, this tea will bring citrus, peach, oranges and vanilla flavors to your session. The tea still has some bitterness combining leather and some walnut flavors in it, which dissipate into a sweet savory aftertaste which coats your mouth and throat. Just a little astringent but nothing to worry about. Mouth, tongue and lips tingle after drinking and give a slight cooling sensation, with a slightly oily texture which is very pleasant. A grounding, calming tea, perfect for a Sunday afternoon contemplation or meditation session."

Potent Yiwu

"I bought this one alone with the also excellent 7 Villages Autumn 2020 set and am enjoying both immensely. I will say that the qi on this Bai Hua Tan is stronger than autumn teas. Taste is fresh cut grass and peach. Looking forward watching this one age."

Q&A

Does the "no e-packet" shipping apply to only whole cakes or to samples as well? Would it be possible to ship a sample via e-packet? Thanks in advance for the answer ;)
