This tea is harvested from untended bushes 野放茶 growing in the Guan Yang area of Fuding (Fujian province) at an altitude of 900 meters!

August 2015 harvested Shou Mei pluck white tea was aged for 2 years in Fuding before being pressed into this cake in 2017.  Stored in Fuding (Fujian) until August 2020.

This tea is ultra-smooth and sweet with a creamy thick mouth-feel.  Tea soup is a deep orange color and the brewed leaves are deep brown in color.  The qi is very balanced and the tea leaves have excellent stamina.  You can feel the relatively high altitude growing conditions when drinking this tea!

Very nice aged white

"This tea has a thick, sweet, and juicy honey note in the first couple steeps that transforms into more woody, spicy autumn leaves towards the end. I brew this tea strong and hot in a small gaiwan, and I get 10 or so great steeps out of it without any unpleasant bitterness. The cha qi for me is great and i can feel it immediately, it's a relaxed stoned energy with warmth and euphoria rising from toe to head. I highly recommend this tea especially for the price, I enjoy drinking this with friends. I will me ordering more aged white soon!"

"This Yi Pin Xuan Shou Mei stands out to me as a favorite among Fuding aged white tea. Thick and comforting tea soup with rich vanilla, spice, caramel, honey and a background of mild “woody” aged taste. The leaves steep many rounds and it has a very nice tranquil cha qi. Bravo!"

Excellent tea

"For its price range, this cake is an excellent value. The taste is smooth, with a balance of sweetness and the deeper flavors one would expect from a cake aged for 7 years, making it good to drink in the morning or at night. The strength can be pushed hard without getting bitter and you can get many steepings out of the leaves, making it conducive to mug brewing or boiling the leaves. I find that it tastes even better if I brew hot and then let it come to room temperature before drinking."
