Energizing

"I really like this one. Its strong recipe and clean storage gives it a nice invigorating energy. Reminds me experientially of drinking a good strong factory cake in the earlier 2000s. I gave it 5 stars for execution of concept. To me this is a nice energizing factory production cake for the sheng lovers that don't require too much subtlety. Will try to add a full cake with a spring 2019 order."

Woody flavor with a twist of liquorice

"I recently bought this as a sample, among other (mostly shou) Menghai Pu-erh teas. I'm not used to drinking sheng pu erh, but it definitely has strong charater. Though it didn't win me over compared to the other great shou teas form Menghai, it was still quite an interesting experience. My score is biased due to my dislike of liquorice, try it for yourself if that sounds delicious to you!"
