My everyday teapot 🫖

"This is my favorite everyday teapot. It lets the beauty of the tea shine. It’s the perfect size. I put 10g of tea in and reinfuse it all morning. It’s a lesson in simplicity. There’s no need to invest in expensive teaware to have something gorgeous. The tea itself is gorgeous. I bought four extra to have in hand for gifts and/or backup. It pours well. It’s a pleasing shape. It’s perfect and all you need."

Highly recommended

"A delightful single cup size teapot which makes a perfect cup of tea. I prefer glass teapots because I like to judge the tea by colour. That way I know how strong the tea is. This teapot may look small but it enhances the experience by producing beautifully flavoured and satisfying tea."

Highly recommended!

"I love this teapot! It is the perfect size to make a good cup for myself. I imagine when I am able to entertain some guests, it will be the perfect size to make several small cups Gong Fu style. It looks elegant with the jade, and you can watch the tea steep. Highly recommended!"

Beatiful, functional.

"It is a very small teapot, but it is absolutely beatiful and very functional with the filter in the sprout. Excellent for brewing tea for two or three people, or alone."

Versatile and Adorable

"The pictures of this pot really don’t do it any justice. It looks especially great on a tea board paired with any of the glass cha hai featured on this site. If you are a tea enthusiast, you likely have a teapot (or several) dedicated to the specific varietals that you regularly enjoy. I think that is a very worthwhile investment and would recommend checking out the great selection of artisanal clay teapots that YS has to offer. That being said, you probably need a brewing vessel for teas that don’t fit into your normal routine. A porcelain gaiwan is an excellent choice and something that I think everyone should eventually become familiar with if they are serious about tea (it really is so simple and, again, YS has some killer deals). However, for the price, simplicity, and effectiveness of this little pot, I think you’d be crazy not to take the plunge and add one to your next shipment. It’s super easy to use, big enough for 3-4 people (depending on setting), and the little wire ball strainer is both ingenious and easy to clean. Also, unless you mutilate your tea leaves before brewing, the flow rate is SUPER quick. Will it brew your favorite tea better than your yixing teapot? No. Is it an heirloom quality piece you will pass down to your grandchildren? No. Will you use it often? Yes. Given the price, should you put at least one in your next order? You’d be CRAZY not to."
