Mojun Fu Cha is the oldest current producer of Fu Cha in Shaanxi. They select tea leaves grown in Hunan and Yunnan to produce their incredibly unique Fu tea replete with "Golden Flowers" (Eurotium cristatum). The Mojun Fu Cha process is unique and safeguarded, producing a delicious warm Fu Cha that is also cha qi laden.

Pure Happiness "清欢" (lit. Pure Happiness) is a made from 湖南桃源县茶庵铺 (Cha An Pu Village in Taoyuan County of Hunan) harvested tea leaves. It's entirely spring 2017 harvested tea from wild tea bushes and trees growing naturally. The pluck has considerably fewer stems than most other Mojun productions, which gives a more potent and complex taste to the tea. As always, the signature Mojun golden flowers are present, lending a malt/grain character to the tea. Very nice cha qi!

Really enjoyed this tea. I

"Really enjoyed this tea. I found that my favourite way to brew it was to put a small amount in a thermos for a couple of hours. So smooth and almost no bitterness!"

Mojun Fu Zhaun Mostly Good but Wanting More

"The tea has a smooth mouthfeel and creamy flavor. It works great as a digestive after a large meal or for a sour stomach. For a hei cha the strength is a bit lacking as compared to teas like Liu Bao or Zang cha."

August H. (4/5)

Great tea to broaden your HeiCha experience

"Very nice. Quite different than expect. Way lighter than something like ripe PuEr or LiuBao with a hint of funkiness, but nothing overwhelming."

This tea actually brought me "Pure Happiness"!

"Powerful vital life force sustained me for a very long time replenishing the chi I'd lost in recent heart attack! It also imparted a very dreamy, luxurious feeling. Another highly refined Mojun tea! WOW! Thank you, Scott!"

Excellent Fu Brick! A great

"Excellent Fu Brick! A great value, and very unique flavor."

Stephen T. (5/5)

good tea

"Malty and nicely fruity, it reminds of fermented plums. The grainy smell is somewhat cozy. The tea is good but it's not to my taste."

Sebastian S. (4/5)

Incredibly unique

"I had to revisit this tea before writing this. Out of the 100 or so Chinese teas I’ve tried, this is by far the strangest in the best way possible. The dry leaf is incredibly fruity—dark plums and dates. The wet leaf intensifies this scent and adds a sweet Smokey scent like a properly aged xiaguan raw. The taste is super woody and mossy like a sweet cedar wood. The finish is where it’s amazing—like southern sweet tea and creamy grainy feeling. Cha qi is incredibly calming. By far my favorite type of hei cha. You can also taste that slightly dark chocolate wild tea flavor. Such interesting stuff! Full of golden flowers!!"
