Our "Fleeting Years" (流年) tea cake is a blend of aged mao cha from several different years and regions, ranging from 6 to 13 years of age.

While already having an aged feel, the tea will continue to improve with further aging!

We also offer a 2021 Fleeting Years cake. The 2023 and 2021 blends are different, so don't expect them to be the same! The 2021 is somewhat more aged, but the 2023 is very potent and slightly less aged at this point, but has a very strong cha qi. For me, this is a sweat inducing cha qi that has a pleasurable warm and content energy!

357 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)

Stone-Pressed in the traditional way

200 kilograms in total produced

Unexpectedly Bold and Deep Aged Sheng

"A surprisingly deep and mature sheng. I expected something lighter, but this tea delivers a rich, dark, complex cup with strong aged character. Smooth yet powerful, with bold body, woody depth, and impressive energy. More intense than I anticipated, but very rewarding if you enjoy stronger aged raw pu-erh. Definitely feels like a well-composed blend with real character."

Fruity smooth and balanced

"Sweet brightish stone fruits with hints of honey on nose finish. Mineral,Marine and wood undertones. Smooth and well balanced. Very enjoyable and easy drink. Thank you for the sample"

massive fruit attack

"got this tea as a sample, I have to say it's been a while since I had this much fruityness from an aged raw. Holy .. this was a surprise. Definitely getting a cake with my next order!"

Bark Aroma

"To me, this tea’s best quality, is its wonderfull bark aroma. Woody, exotic, herbal, botanical, it really has the exotic tree aroma, without the wet earth floor, damp cave etc… This aroma is embeded in the creamiest texture. Almost too creamy ! ( with hints of fruits ) This is a blend, but there might be this commun bark aroma quality to most of the sources in it, because every brew always hits the spots. Great ! Definitely a cosy sheng."

A "new" but aged tea.

"I was first skeptical about this blending of aged mao cha from several different years and regions; but I was pleasantly pleased. Smooth and slight smoky. Can’t wait for improvement with further aging."
