A blend of Nannuo Mountain area tea leaves from Autumn 2010.  Autumn tea leaves from various Nannuo area villages were pressed into this tasty brick and then aged in Kunming until now.

The brewed tea is typically autumn harvest tea in that it's flower and sweet with a subtle hay taste and aroma.  Compression is medium and as such the tea has aged a decent amount.  It's a an easy to enjoy tea with little bitterness and astringency, and a long mushroom broth sweetness throughout.

Each brick is roughly 250 grams

It will come wrapped in white paper, but there is no inner ticket or any other identifying marks.

Overall rating: 4.5 / 5 from 6 reviews.

Good aged tea

"I got a brick of this Nannuo Shan to try based on favorable reviews as a daily drinker. It took a few sessions to figure out how best to brew this lil guy. Like the Xiang Yi Hei Zhuan, this Puerh likes clay pots and HOT water. The tea is, surprising to me, very smooth even when overfilling with leaf and casual lazy long steeps. Nice flower and fruity flavor. Astringency appears like a flash and it’s gone. I didn’t know Kunming stored tea brews so smooth with such a dark red tea soup! Very nice long lasting stoney cha qi too."

Aged Sheng

"Very nice aged sheng. Hard to find something this good under $50."

Not a fan - tastes sour

"I should state up front that I don't drink much raw puer - prefering the ripe cha tou style. Not a fan of this at all. It's got a distinctly sour taste."

Good value

"For the price I find it good value. It is an easy drinker, also in the evening, with a decent fragrance and a good mouthfeel. I find it also nicely warming from the inside. Feels good. I'd have given five stars, if it was certified organic. However, I am sure that YS did a trustworthy job in sourcing this tea. So, I'd have liked to give 4.5 stars, if that was possible."

Great budget tea!

"Super awesome for the price. By no means is it super fancy or high end, but it's really good cheap casual tea to drink. I would definitely buy again."

Ridiculously Good Value

"There's not much to say about this tea, other than that it's a great value. It's inexpensive and it tastes good. Is it fancy? No. Will it impress those who frequent online tea forums? Nope. Will it make for a fantastic daily drinker? Yes and double yes. It's wonderful to have a casual tea that I don't have to pay attention to while steeping. I do like more premium teas, of course, but I find myself coming back to this brick time and time again and it always leaves me feeling happy and satisfied. Get some!"
