Definitely not stored properly. I

"Definitely not stored properly. I drink A LOT of high quality puerh and even washing properly cannot save the flavor of the tea. It dies after a single steep."

Smooth aged ripe

"For me these older loose leaf ripes are the perfect antidote for heavy meals and lots of spicy food. I love to steep this one in the SAMA MC09 flask for 45 minutes. The result is a thick and flavorful brew that is just the thing to get me through my morning and ready my poor stomach for its work day."

Loose leaf shou

"Not bad but have to use alot more leaves than the similar xiguan loose leaf for less infusion.. maybe that is the difference in age but a 19 gram pot has avery good cha chi effect"

Hamish A. (5/5)

Chocolaty and smooth

"I got a sample from one of the monthly boxes and I loved it so I ordered a box. I knocked off a star because the seal on the box and the inner plastic were both opened and the whole box weighed less than 100g - and was supposed to be 150g of tea. Kind of a bummer. The tea itself is very deep and smooth and chocolaty."

Aged Book and Incense Ripe

"This is a very aged ripe and compares to others from the 90's I've had in the sense that it has a nice aged books and incense/camphor character. The qi is very nice and I like to drink this in the mornings on an empty stomach. Very medicinal and nurturing experiences with this tea."

Frederick B. (5/5)

Very distinct aged character and that’s it

"This is what pure age tastes like with almost nothing else but a tinge of wordiness If you can’t get enough of that aged thing this is for you, otherwise it’s kinda lackluster"
