Our Jade Pillar is made from only highest quality fresh white tea (Chang Ye Bai Hao varietal) harvested in early spring. Hand-rolled and then individually dried, this delicate tea reveals to the drinker the art of tea production and the high state of Yunnan tea culture. Our current production is the highest grade available and will be sure to please with its clean taste and slightly nutty and fruity aroma.

Not what I want from a white tea

"To my palette this tea, brewed at various temperatures and even cold-brewed, is rather vegetal for a white tea. It also carries a somewhat bitter finish in all version I brewed. I much prefer the Silver Needle teas available on this website. If you like vegetal teas and some bitterness, this could be a good for for you."

Solid White Tea

"Solid white tea, the dry rolls look fantastic as does the material after brewing. Clearly very high quality. Taste is light, slightly nutty with hints of sweetness and whispers of flower/honey and vegetation. It may not be my favorite white tea, but the presentation is stunning and the flavor is good! Admittedly I've only had 3 sessions with it so far, I may find more in it with time."

"This tea is amazing, each hand rolled pillar looks so beautiful, because it's so dense you don't need much power cup. The flavour is incredible, each steep pulls new hints of flavour. The buds are soft with a light downy feel to them. I want more of this tea asap!"
