Good leaf size, but not much taste

"I wasn't thrilled with this tea as brewed in a porcelain gaiwan. It smelled interesting, but the dominant taste was pretty much just mild bitterness. Brewed in clay seasoned with young sheng, the smell is wonderful, very strong and almost exactly like apricots, but the taste isn't really improved. The quality of the leaves is better than in many mini tuo cha options, though; it's not finely chopped or anything like that, so you can brew it in a gaiwan without ending up eating too much tea!"

Smokey flavored?

"I ordered a variety of tuo cha mini's, to try, but this one was definitely one of the most interesting. Mine has a smokey scent/flavor to it, almost like a lapsang, but definitely still a raw pu'erh. Not sure if it is supposed to, but it's definitely good. It's nice to have a variety of flavors to choose from."
