This is a very nice blend of Fuding "Yin Hao" (Silver Hairs) Green Tea and Fujian-grown jasmine flowers.  The tea was harvested in Late-April and the Flowers in Late-May.

The brewed tea is golden in color with a thick tea soup!  The aroma of jasmine is in the forefront, but the vegetal fresh grass and fruit aroma of the Yin Hao green tea is also present and complements the jasmine aroma perfectly.

The taste of the tea itself is sweet, jasmine and umami with a thick honey-like mouth-feeling.  An excellent jasmine green tea that can be steep 4 to 6 times gong fu style.   Also brews well western style!

Growing region:  Fuding in Fujian province of China

Great ice tea

"This is incredible, I use it almost exclusively in cold brew and it makes such a great ice tea for the summer. I also sometimes steep it the traditional way, but I find that the hot temperature stresses the jasmine bloom and gives it a slightly oxidised taste, nothing too offensive to the taste buds though."

Camelia B. (5/5)

Fresh and Floral

"Definitely up there in one of the freshest and most aromatic Jasmine tea I've ever acquired, without smelling "artificial" as some of lower quality teas do. It is easy to oversteep, so it requires some practice to get it at the right flavor. I've been able to steep it twice cold brew style where the flavors are almost equivalent, but the second steep doesn't get that nice color the first steep does."
