Good value, enjoyable now

"Good value for this blend of aged raw pu-erh. Enjoyable to drink now, but I guess aging will improve it further. Bought a cake for this purpose."

Incredible tea

"Just buy a cake, you really don't need to sample this in advance, it's just that good! Semi-aged taste all day long - you can steep it 15+ times, it just keeps going. Smooth, buttery, slightly oily, some wood in there as well as the common semi-aged flavour notes you'd expect. This is a bargain in my opinion."

Maximilian V. (5/5)

Just a beautiful tea

"Got a sample of this in a bigger box -- huge wow feel with this, from the second steeping onward -- the familiar smokey pu-erh note is present but mild, notes of anise and licorice -- extremely good!"

JD (5/5)

Aged and smoky

"Wow, I bought this tea as a sample but will definitely be buying more. It has a wonderful smooth tea with a subtle smokiness that I love. Very nice brew, well done Scott and Xiao Yao!"

Colleen (5/5)

Older than 2021

"Really nice. No fancy perfume but just well harmonized. Quite warm grain-like. A pleasure to drink, 5 infusions and still the same style. Makes you salivate, not astringent. PS: I just see now that this tea is made of aged leaves, it explains why the liquor is dark even with a quick rince at 60C. Brewed GFC Silver 90C+"

Gilbert B. (5/5)

nice age

"This has an incredible aged tasted to it for being a blend of mao cha. It all works together to create the flavor of a well aged cake. Very impressed."

Timothy H. (5/5)

Revelation-ary

"This is the sample that gave me the tea drunkenness for the first time. Deep color, slight ripe smell, that definite sheng taste but in the distance. My first aged sheng and boy what change it’s put me through. Turns me into an tuning fork I want a tong so bad hopefully they’ll be left over when I can afford🤞"

Chakotay H. (5/5)

Very good

"Good combonation of features same as aged sheng and relatively young. Pleasant smoky notes, medium thickness, initial dry aftertaste and bite of first infusions develops to salivating sweetness."
