Mo Lie Shan (aka Shang Mu Lie) is a mountain area with several villages south of Bingdao in Mengku just to the east of Bingdao Lake (a reservoir section of the Mengku River).  Our Mo Lie Shan production is made from 70 to 120 year old trees growing naturally at an altitude of 1800 meters.

This autumn flush tea is very strong with a surprisingly potent cha qi and a nice cooling mouthfeel.   An excellent tea for aging that will surely win the hearts of those who love Mengku tea!

"This one is the first from my samples that I finished... As I remember, it has a straightforward bitterness, without too much astringency however... The taste is something I've seen in previous teas from mengku, more on the grassy-round-serious tastes (which I like), neither smoky nor zesty. It is strong, full and stays in the mouth for a long time ! One of my favorites of this round of samples !"
