Great Value
"Pleasantly surprised. The bricks look really cute too! The tea is not too compacted and so opens up very quickly right after a wash. I prefer it this way, it makes the brewing experience a little simpler. Of course no fishy taste or smell is present. It is not as funky as some of the older aged wet piled tea is. I have a lot of funky pu-erh in my stash right now so something a little cleaner is just what I need. It is very balanced, smooth, and a little sweet. Highly recommend for people who have not had a lot of pu-erh before or have had bad experiences with low quality pu-erh (as I have had). It wont knock your socks off but it is a great everyday drinker, especially for the price. One problem with this tea is that I cant seem to get many infusions out of it. So if brewing a lot, or for multiple people I like to use two bricks. I was torn between 5 and 4 stars. Ill give it a 5 because good everyday pu-erh can be hard to find for me."
Great pu-erh!
"This tea is my favorite pu-erh, the packaging is also great and it’s very balanced."
Will buy again
"Prompt delivery, good tea!"
Cheap and useful small bricks
"Dusty, cheap puerh. Weakens very quickly so I like just having this if I may only have one or two cups, or just fancy a bit of average old puerh. Typical old dusty aroma and taste. Certainly worth investing in something higher quality too like 1999 Basket Aged Loose Leaf Ripe Pu-erh Tea from Menghai by Yunnan Sourcing."
Great!
"From my first order here this one I would order again just for ease of use and balanced taste. Good for the road or at work."
Decent Mini bricks
"For the value, these are pretty good mini bricks. The bricks do break up easily and are fully separated from a single wash. It has a smooth, deep flavor. As the picture shows, there are no fully leaves in this tea, just bits and pieces. I think the small bits make the tea surprisingly astringent for a ripe pu erh."
Convenient and decent, basic shou
"Not nearly as fishy as it smells in quantity. A somewhat light-tasting shou, though not quite what I'd call mild. The taste is slightly thinner and more tannic than is usual for shou - reminiscent of a standard black/red tea - but the earthy, fungal flavours one expects from shou are present as well. Would make a decent 'daily' tea, not least because of the convenient format."
Great first buy from here
"this is one of those teas that makes you go,"mmma" with every sip! Amazing cha qi!"
Great value
"Great every day drinker for a great price. Convenience of the minis is nice. Mini brick is a nice change from the common mini tuo. Fully opens on 2nd infusion. Decent material quality, not as broken leaf as many others. Super smooth and richer than similar offerings. In a blind test I liked it more than YS's 2013 minis."
Great taste. Beautiful colour.
