Our imperial grade "tippy" is a low temperature process black tea that preserves the downy hairs on the tea, giving it a sweet and malty character. If brewing gong fu style we recommend 80-90C water with very short steeps (for the first 3-4 steeps) to get the most out of this incredibly unique and textured tea!
