Three Cranes "Classic 0211" Special Grade Liu Bao Tea
The 0211 recipe is one of the most recognized and enduring productions from Three Cranes (Sanhe), representing a classic style of traditionally crafted Liu Bao tea. Introduced during the period when Liu Bao tea was evolving from an export-focused product into one widely enjoyed throughout China, the 0211 recipe has earned a reputation as one of the benchmark expressions of the style.
The 2026 production continues this tradition by following the same time-honored manufacturing techniques while preserving the character that has made the recipe so respected among Liu Bao tea drinkers.
Produced by the historic Guangxi Wuzhou Tea Factory, this tea is made from Special Grade raw material and began its post-production aging in June 2022 before being packaged in March 2026. This additional aging allows the tea to develop a smoother, deeper character while retaining the lively complexity expected from premium-grade Liu Bao.
In the cup, expect a rich amber liquor with notes of aged wood, Chinese medicinal herbs, betel nut, camphor, dried fruit, and clean earthy sweetness. The body is smooth and substantial with very little bitterness, finishing with lingering sweetness and refreshing cooling sensations that continue after each sip.
This is an excellent introduction to one of Three Cranes' most famous recipes while also being satisfying enough for longtime Liu Bao enthusiasts seeking a dependable, traditionally styled daily drinker.
