Pleasantly strong with aging potential

"The flavor description is on point if a little bit vague. The tea is potent and thick with wood, tobacco and even some barnyard notes in a bitter base, maybe even brine-y at times. The middle notes can be a cloying at times with hints of prunes but it pays off with the huigan showing some warm brown sugar/cereal/maple water notes(something rich and comforting). This tea is still astringent and a bit rough but that might be a good thing for some people. I don't like saying 'it will age well because it's bitter', I take it with lots of skepticism when I read it. However, this tea has both the bitterness that gives you hope it will age well and hints of aged notes showing progress towards it. This is an enjoyable tea, but will probably be great in 3-5 years in a slightly wetter storage."
