2024 Yunnan Sourcing "Ba Nuo Village" Black Tea Cake
Ba Nuo Village is a small remote village about 10 kilometers (as the crow flies) from Bing Dao village in Mengku county (for map click here). Our Ba Nuo village tea is picked from wild arbor tea trees and bushes growing at 2100 meters altitude!
Thick, burly and aromatic tea. Has much of the typical Mengku character, but in a pure assamica black tea style! This tea is from the same family garden as out previous Ba Nuo Village pressings, however this is the first time we've offered black tea from this family garden!
A total of 60 kilograms in total was produced. We pressed these tea cakes with a stone-press and used low-temperature drying to preserve the integrity of the tea.
Stone-pressed in the traditional manner.
