Entirely wild arbor tea from early spring 2019! Tea leaves taken from 30 to 80 years old tea trees growing in Xi Ban Shan area just southwest from Bingdao in the county of Mengku) Lincang. Full and stout one leaf to one bud ratio tea leaves. He Bian Zhai (Riverside Village) tea has been growing wild for decades and is picked by local families in the village.  Our friend Mr. Duan, oversees the picking and processing of this lovely tea.  No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in the production of this tea.

He Bian Zhai is a strong full-bodied tea that is a tea that I consider to be much better than it's price tag.  The taste is thick and vegetal with a sweet almost syrup-like body that flows through the mouth and literally slips down the throat with a sooth

An incredible value pu-erh which is both worthy to drink now or for the long-term.  Clean and pure!

Welcoming mellow raw pu erh

"This is a mellow raw pu erh tea. Its flavour lingers leisurely in the mouth - a delicate fresh but slightly aged green pu erh tea flavour. Will order again."

Fanstastic, thick and vegetal

"Just finished my second session with this tea. Really fantastic tea, long-lasting with and extremely thick mouthfeel. Short steepings come out nearly clear while stronger infusions give a lovely yellow color. Flavor is mostly vegetal, almost reminded me of Japanese sencha but with that unique raw puerh taste. I was very surprised by the lack of bitterness for such a young tea, it's actually much sweeter than many teas I've tasted that have 5-10 years of age. Because of this, it might be good for someone looking to get a feel for puerh, very easy to drink (although it lacks most of the astringency that characterizes most young sheng). Can't recommend it enough. Take everything I've said with a grain of salt though as I am still relatively new to puerh."

Nice and fresh

"Tea is great, light fresh vegetal taste with flower notes. Moderate amount of bitterness."
