This is a blend of 7 different ripe pu-erh teas from 2019-2020 wet pile batches! Full-bodied, sweet and fruity, hardwood and mushroom, with tons of complexity! This will change and improve with just a few years of aging, but is a solid ripe that can be enjoyed now as well!

"I really appreciate the body and flavor of this tea. If you are looking for a strong tea with nice body, great flavors and an awesome mouth feel this tea checks all the boxes. Steeping around 6g to 120ml and it hold solid strength and flavor into the 4th and 5th steeping. This tea has allowed me to replace much of my coffee intake and I have been a very heavy coffee drinker for years. There are days now that I do not have a cup of coffee at all, but I enjoy several session with my favorite Journey tea. Homerun imao."

Definitely a Fan

"I think this was my first exposure to the proficiency of the YS Brand ripes with regard to mixing material from different regions. I seem to remember there being classic notes of wood and earth as well as a predominant mushroom umami, all coated in a thick and lingering earthy sweetness. I'd grab a whole cake of this and enjoy this as a tea to place my focus on and explore as well a tea to kick back with and get some work done. Very awesome"

Good Now...Will Be Even Better With Time!

"Received this as a 25G sample within the Nov 21 ripe and raw tea club. Very much looking forward to how this blend matures over time. The wet leaf aroma is very fruit forward, but the initial taste is much more hardwood/mushroom oriented and a bit fuzzy. I would expect some aging will help round out the flavor profile and pull some of the fruit aroma into the equation. Sweet finish builds across steeps."
