This is a unique blend of Mengku area wild arbor teas from the first flush of spring 2021! This is a strong and flavorful tea with a typically Mengku taste (bitter, astringent, sweet, umami, and fruity).

Wok kill-green, bamboo mat hand-rolling, and (of course) purely sun-dried!

Potent cha qi and last many steeps, makes this a good choice for long-term ager!

Powerful Qi

"Very powerful Qi on this one. Stored for 2 years and it's blasting me."

Very decent evening sheng

"I was digging through my box of infinite tea samples and randomly selected this one, which i think I had received for free last year or so. Since the sample has been aging weirdly in its foil bag for a little less than a year, so this review may be slightly "wrong" if you know what I mean. Upon wetting the leaf, I notice there is hardly any aroma. But the tea really shines through in its taste and body. The bitterness is strong, but very satisfying. I actually recommend brewing longer than usual because in my opinion it really brings out the character of the tea. After the 3rd or 4th steep a little sweetness comes out but the bitterness and huiguan are still at the forefront. I think this would be a decent choice for aging as it could round out the harshness. It can be be a little viscious so I wouldn't recommend drinking it like in the morning on an empty stomach. But afternoon or evening it's pretty amazing. Overall on a scale of nay to yay, I'd give this a yay!"
