Final year CNNP production. Old plantation tea from spring 2005 harvest was pressed into these potent tea cakes and dry aged in Kunming for 14 years! The tea itself brews up an aromatic bouquet of flowers, tobacco and camphor. Strong taste with pungent cha qi and very distinctive Nan Nuo taste and feeling.

"I had tried CNNP back in 2007ish and reordered based on that memory. Particularly 4th infusion tastes very good and it opens up with each infusion. It is not too strong in flavor. Very balanced. Great for those who are a bit not towards the frankincense tastes."

My first Nannou cake

"This is my first nannou cake so I can't really compare to other cakes of this region but its very good! Great value too especially for a CNNP cake which I don't usually love. Starts off pretty floral and sweet but fades into a more umami sesame oil kinda flavor. Not at all bitter or astringent. Pretty oily and potent, nice daily drinker. Most likely going to pick up a cake of this."

"It is already my second cake I have bought. The smell of flowerish sweetness can be easily noticed, and its getting nicer after a few more infusions. The taste is great - clean, sweet and match to what this aged supposes to be like. Good nan-nuo cake with accessible price tag for everyone. You can't get wrong with it!"
