This is a wonderful example

"This is a wonderful example of a dark, deep, and woody puerh. Every infusion has the qualities I enjoy most--rich, loamy, bitterness fused with sweetness. Not fruity sweetness, but more integral. A new favorite puerh!"

Easily steeps. Sweet taste when

"Easily steeps. Sweet taste when allowed to stay longer, good everyday tea"

Deliciously smoky

"This tea tastes like an open fireplace and old books (very much in a good way!) It is strong and comforting and can go for many steeps. Has an element of smokiness but it is very well rounded and enhances the tea rather than overwhelming it. Definitely my go to tea in winter for a quick session."

Great value ripe pu erh!

"These cubes brew up a deeply-coloured, warming tea which is very satisfying to drink. There isn't a great deal of complexity here (hence 4 stars), but early steepings produce an earthy flavour which rounds out into more developed umami notes with subsequent steepings. It is a very clean tea, with no hint of "fishy" flavour, and very little bitterness or astringency. The cubes I received were much heavier than listed, so I tend to break one in half to give about 6g of leaf which is the right amount for my 145ml gaiwan. This is a perfect brew for the colder months and the shape makes them very convenient for travel. Highly recommended."

This is my go-to puerh

"This is my go-to puerh tea! I love the taste!"

Great rounded taste.

"Very impressed with these. Great value for the price. Think this might become my daily puer drink."

Rich and strong

"Good to leave for a 4-5 days after shipping. Super strong, Rich, 200ml jianshui with 15 second infusions to start. Really nice and cost effective tea. Can go like 10 steeps in the jianshui. Most cubes are like 14 grams so......alot more than advertised haha."

Surprisingly good

"Really good tea, much better then you would expect from the price. The taste is great, full body but still smooth, and it's effect is surprisingly good as well: I drink shu pu-erh before QiGong practices and mediatation to clear up the mind and wake up some Jing Qi. It is rare that such a young shu can do that, but if you hit the appropriate quantity (strong but not too much), this one can do. Cheers! :)"

Completely delicious!

"Fantastic tea! It is enjoyable from the very first sip. Though it is hard to tell from the picture, these cubes are really cubes, not flat. They are shaped like a baby's wooden letter block. I used less than half of one cube, about 5g of tea to 8oz water in a small clay pot. The taste was great immediately (whereas other teas kind of sneak up on you), and it has a nice long finish too. Tea soup is a pretty reddish brown. Lots of nice mineral notes and slight bitterness. Coats your mouth and has a long, earthy aftertaste. Second steep was just as delicious. It has a metallic/mineral taste that I just love in a good ripe puerh. It coats your tongue and mouth and just keeps on giving. If you buy 100g, it's only 7 cents/gram, which is great for such a good tea, but if you get a whole Kg, it will be only 4 cents/gram! That makes it one of the best bargain puerhs I've ever seen, amazing for the quality of tea you get."
