Reviews
Moonlight White, a wonderful respite.
"This was my first purchase from YunnanSourcing. I am an avid tea fan, and have bought many cakes, loose and other types of tea. I really enjoyed the complexity of this tea, and it's quality was really good. Especially for a white tea. At no time did I encounter any of the qualities of bad tea. nothing musty/overly bitter/ excessive tannin from wrong mixture. No this was simple, smooth and fantastic. The complexity of flavor changed dynamically as the tea would move from hot, to cold. Brew time worked best at 3. 5 minutes, under 190F in my gongfu. however, your experience may vary. Thank you again!"

This is beautiful tea to
"This is beautiful tea to look at. But the taste is what keeps me coming back. If you love the flavor of a damp fall day in the woods give this a try. It is cleaner tasting than some others I have. I don’t get much fruit but the sweet and earthy flavor is what I enjoy."

Sets the Standard
"From my 10 years of experience as a dedicated pu-erh tea drinker, this tea really sets the standard of what an aged, shou pu-erh can be. Deep, rich, dark, complex smooth, sweet."

Nice medicinal notes though slight
"Nice medicinal notes though slight off taste due to storage or shipping."

My favorite so far!
"I am new to the world of tea. I have recently purchased several different ones and am trying them all. This is the first one that makes me want to keep drinking more! The others are very good as well but, I could take them or leave them some days. This on stands out. Rich, thick body and great taste."

Really Solid Aged Ripe
"Really wish I could give it 4. 5. This is a really nice, ripe pue-er, but there’s nothing outstanding about it, other than it is a well aged, ripe pu-erh. It starts with a mild flavor that turns on the same taste receptors as chocolate, but isn’t chocolate. The mild bitterness in the later steeps is pleasant to me, and not sickly or cloying. This may be heresy, and the flavor pallets are distinct, but this has everything I ever wanted from coffee, with none of the negatives. The only thing I’ve had that compares to this in quality is coffee sourced, roasted, ground and prepared by someone with top notch equipment and who is personally invested in the quality of their product. I made this in my kitchen with an electric tea kettle and a ceramic teapot. So when I give this a four, that’s relative to other shou teas I’ve tried. I’m going to buy some of this for my morning cup. I think the price point is very reasonable for the age."

Now my favorite for “grandpa style”
"I’m resubmitting my review and bumping it up to a 5. I tried it “grandpa style” and this the best tea I’ve tried so far fixed that way, and I've sampled dozens of shou teas from this site alone. The flavor profile really shines for me when prepared that way. Bought the basket. — Original Review: Really wish I could give it 4. 5. Surprisingly good
"Still new to "good" teas, been struggling to find why people keep saying that pu-erh is their favorite. This is the first one that Ive actually wanted to keep drinking. First steep after 2x rinse: Wood / Earth / Grass, a Faint Sweetness, Old Plum? Mahogany in color Its interesting to say the very least. I want to keep sipping to find out what else is "hidden" in this cup."
