20+ years aged mini tuo from Jinggu harvested tea!  Stored in Jinggu from 2002 until February 2023! Very nice smooth ripe pu-erh! It's made from compressed fannings, so it brews up quickly with a thick dark tea soup. Not very infusable, but it certainly delivers a few satisfying and complex steeps. The aged taste is very obvious with this tea, but without any mustiness or storage notes either, just a clean well-aged mini tuo. The taste is fruity sweet with a thick creamy mouth-fee, with a warming cha qi and long-lasting after-taste!

The weight of the mini tuos range from 5.5 to 6.5 grams each

The Tea Full of Character

"This tea is rich and flavorful, with a heartwarming taste. The notes of prunes combined with hints of oak and subtle spices add a unique character to this Pu-erh. I’m very happy I bought it—thank you!"

everything an aged tea should be

"I was surprised to find these tea shipped with the leaves pressed into lozenges, rather than a cake. However, this is everything an aged tea should be, with a mellow but pleasing aroma and taste. It's currently my favorite."

Bruce B. (5/5)

"Very smooth and pleasant taste"

A good value

"These are a good value and they are easy to use. I give them two quick discard rinses with boiling water. This helps loosen them up. Plenty of flavor."

YUMMY YUM YUM!

"I loved this tea because it has everything that I always look for in a tuo cha. Brewed for 4 minutes with highly refined water, it was dark, dense, thick, rich and powerful. I'd just sit at the dining room table and swish it around in my mouth because it seemed the flavor changed at every turn. YUMMY!"

Great value daily drinker

"Aroma of dry leaf is strong after resting in open air (~ 32C and 75RH over here lately :/ ) for a week. Rich and warming brew that is not bitter. The low infusion count and price makes it particularly suited as a no-fuss daily drinker - I put in an empty teabag, 2 brews."

Ang C. (5/5)

Aged tuo, aroma is strong

"Smooth aged character I only found in older teas. Leaf is broken type typical of mini tuo. I got 5 steeps out of it. There is something evocative in the aged character, a cloying sweetness that stays long."

David L. (5/5)

A bit disappointed, it was okay for it'd price though

"Well I guess I should've expected less. It has a nice old age vibe. But the amount of broken leaves is alot, and that makes the steeping and sessions kind of weird,it suddenly drops off in taste, and it has a sort of sourness I wouldn't expect. But if whst you want is a decent aged tuo cha to travel with then this is for you. But for a quality session this isnt for you."
