Smokie
"This is probably the smokiest tea I've tried so far. Nice, but a little overbearing."

deep, layered, complex
"Brewing: 6g/100ml, 100°C, flash rinse, 15s, +5s. Warmed-up dry leaves smell of earth and wood. When wet, fruit, caramel and spices appear. The liquor tastes of wood (many fascinating layers), stone fruit (settling into cherry, in later steeps), caramel and liquorice. Smooth and muddy, it's a perfect example of the wonderful complexity that can come out of dry storage. Good for 16 steeps."

Quite Nice
"Bought this back in 2022 and just started tasting. Nice silky mouthful. Pleasant and sweet. Touch of camphor makes this nice a on cold winter mornings. Even focused energy."

Smooth and sweet
"This was recommended by Scott and has very nice cherry aftertaste. Sweet and smooth, with nothing unpleasant. Brews dark and very hard to over brew. Love it!"

Long lasting
"oops, posted to the wrong product the first time. This tea was a little slow to start, but after the first couple steeps this was a smooth rich brew."

Outstanding
"I normally don't like white teas, finding them weak flavored, but this tea brewed multiple steeps with great flavor throughout. To me is tasted more like an oolong than any other white tea I've tried."

Easy drinker
"Smooth with attic-ish and occasionally jammy aromas. Light mineral taste to it. I enjoy this one both gong fu and grandpa style. Brews up nice and inky, usually get around 4-5 solid steepings gong fu style, but that's because I do long brews (min. 30 seconds each, often up to a minute or 2). Very enjoyable ripe, and no wo dui."

Sturdy and Slightly Sweet
"Very firmly packed tea cake, at this point 14+ years old. Very smooth and at times subtly sweet, and other times almost malty in flavor, with an aftertaste of cherries. The aroma from the hot and wet leaves between infusions smells of raisins and other dried fruit. True to the description above, I think you can throw just about anything at this and it stands up; I have had it "grandpa" style at work on several occasions and it is still very enjoyable."

Smooth and sweet!
"One of the sweetest ripes I have tasted so far! After two rinses, there is no fermentation taste detectable and the broth is clear, deep-red, and super-smooth. I only ordered a sample, but will order at least one cake, next time."

Fast shipping, excellent product!
"Ordered old pur'eh and some samples. Was happily surprised how quickly it came directly from China. The 2005 cake was perfect condition and beautiful taste. The samples as well. I found out about Yunnan Sourcing from Reddit in the /tea subreddit. Will be ordering more soon!"
