This tea brick has been aged for 15 years in Guangdong dry storage.  The tea is ripened tea leaves from Menghai area tea leaves.  The leaves are coarse but because they have been fermented and aged for so long, they taste wonderfully smooth and sweet.  

Smooth tea that can't be over-brewed and has a super transparent burgundy tea soup.

250 grams per brick

** there is no date stamp on the wrapper, you'll have to take our word for it!

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

"Wow! I ordered a bunch of samples around Thanksgiving, and only today I drank this Gu Fo. Is it just my Yixing Da Hong Pao teapot? No, this tea is very delicious and lingers on my tongue for several minutes. I am pleased by all of the different tastes, including the chocolate, coffee, sweet, molasses, earthiness. Deep, dark sweetness, with no dankness, no bitterness, and slight astringency. I was pleasantly surprised. No question that I want this brick in my next order!"

"This is a nice medium density brick with larger coarse leaves. It has a nicely balanced earthy flavor that is smooth with a nice sweetness sweetness.
