This is a premium blend of young raw pu-erh tea from Bulang pressed under the "Baoyan Brand" aka Tibetan Flame sub-brand of Xiaguan Tea Factory.  "Dan Ba Ge Lie" is a Tibetan saying that means "Auspicious and Wonderful".

Like their other Baoyan Mushroom tuo, this is a potent blend formulated for longer-term aging.  For those who like young potent sheng pu, this might be just what you are looking for.  

The tuo come packaged 3 Tuo x 250 grams in bamboo tongs.  Each tong comes in a cloth drawstring cloth bag with a gifting bag.  We will do our best to protect the gifting bag, but it could become rumpled and creased during shipping.  No credits or refunds are possible for that.

Honey sweet!

"I am excited to receive my first mushroom tuo. I'm not familiar with Baoyan Brand, but I have enjoyed several Xiaguan tea before, so  I thought I would give this a try.  Ordered a tong for aging and an extra tuo for tasting. As the teas arrived I immediately felt some sweet honey scent while opening the package 📦. I enjoy light tea so I just used 3g in 120cc gaiwan. Tea was very clear and light lemon yellow color. While I was enjoying fast 8 steeps, smelled honey, smoky grass, and a light daisy scent like a warm spring. Tea flavor was slightly bitter, astringent, and very sweet. Huigan is also flowery finish after sweet taste. Although I’ve only tried this tea a few times, my first impression was a strong honey scent with very sweet taste tea. Maybe it’s the character of  Bulang mountain tea🏔"

"Whiskey lovers, this one is for you. I know the description above says that this puehr is meant for storing and aging, but boy do I enjoy this tea. This tea has a wonderfully smokey onset, before opening up into some whiskey like notes. Those of you who have had Laphroaig will recognize this kind of palette. I also love the mushroom shape - its so cute!"
