This is a certified organic production made from a blend of Bu Lang area material harvested in Spring 2011 and then aged in Guangdong until recently.  It's a bud heavy pluck that gives a sweet yet robust experience!

The tea itself is nicely aged with a smooth taste, balanced bitter and sweet, with a wood and spiced fruit taste.

Highly recommended for those looking for a clean Guangdong stored Bu Lang tea that is both Certified Organic and nicely aged.

400 Grams per cake (7 cakes per tong)

Certified Organic by OFDC China.

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

Good one

"I agree with the other reviewers. Nice and very good considering the price. Nothing mind-blowing here. I like it."

Alexei T. (5/5)

Really good affordable Sheng

"I sampled many different aged shengs of different price points from YS. This is the one I‘m most certain about getting a whole cake of. Flavour and smell have prominent notes of a ripe puerh. Combined with the freshness of the sheng this makes an interesting brew. Value is really good. I enjoyed it much more than all the other Shengs I tried in this price bracket."

Philipp B. (5/5)

Nice Cha Qi

"Taste is ok, a little boring and flat although it is very smooth, woody, and clean. It does have a nice cha qi especially for the price. I prefer Scott's Impressions series though if you're looking for cheap sheng (my favorite is probably the 2014)."

Theo C. (4/5)

Best-value aged sheng

"I have been drinking many different aged shengs over the past few weeks. And this one is technically the best in terms of price and performance! Very clear aged smell and taste. For the price just a perfect Sheng!"
