This is a premium tippy "Gold Ribbon" version of the classic Feng Qing Te Ji tuo cha.  Aged in Lincang area since 2007 has given this a warm honey-like sweetness that only Southern Yunnan storage conditions can provide!

Tight compression has protected this tea from must and mold but the small and open shape of the tuo has allowed for a nicely aged tea to develop!  There is a cloth gold ribbon embedded into the tuo!  This is a special extra tippy version!

This is a perfect semi-aged raw tea that is sure to please casual and sophisticated tea drinkers alike!

"I liked it, steep after steep after steep"

Be careful..

"Oyster knife is recommended for opening this tuo. Break up the tou and allow it to rest, accumulate. The wet storage will dissipate. The tea has good throat feel, saliva producing. So, I tried a tuo, came back for a five pack."

Hammockman (5/5)

Nice aged tuo

"I got one of these tuo not expecting much, but hopeful that it would be decent. The first session the day it arrived was a little funky wet, but after letting chill for a month after shipping it was excellent! A little bit of wood spice and mushroomy sweetness in the early steeps and then follows with honey sweet and just a touch of vegetal notes. I think it's a buy for me!"

Jammy T. (5/5)

Beware this tea is extremely

"Beware this tea is extremely tightly compressed so be careful breaking it apart. Out of all the Pu-er I ordered I like this one the best. I got some ripe pu-er and it was just playing gross."

Q&A

How many steepings did these go?
Depends on how much leaf you use, the volume of your brewing device, the temperature of the water, and the length of each steeping. The way I brew it, it went about 10 steeps.
