De Hua "Jade Porcelain" (玉瓷) is a special process that involves very high firing temperatures to create a semi-translucent porcelain that is very uniform and able to transmit light and color with a wonderful effect.

Fabulous pot

"I purchased this pot some time ago and have used it extensively since. It’s a beautiful pot for making tea for two, we use it for Wuyi & Oolongs but I have also tried it with raw puer. It pours really well and produces consistent results. It has not replaced my chosen clay pots but it has become one of my firm favourites and looks so fabulous on the tea table."
