2016 Hui Man Xin "Aged Aroma" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake

Hui Man Xin brand is produced by a small Menghai area tea factory that specializes in ripe pu-erh tea wet piling.  They've produced tea in Menghai for more than 15 years, sourcing tea leaves from Bu Lang, Nan Nuo, Pa Sha , You Le, Jing Mai, Bang Wei and the Yi Wu mountains.

This "Aged Aroma" cake (越陈越香) is composed of Menghai area tea wet-piled in 2015 and pressed in 2016. It has been stored in Kunming until now. The leaf grade blend is similar to that of a 7592 blend and brews an easy-going camphor and date sweet tea soup. There is no wet-pile taste after 10+ years of aging and the cha qi is mild and pleasant.

This is a great choice for a budget ripe pu-erh that can be enjoyed now!
