Try boiling this one!

"Dipping my toes into Fu Zhuan with this one. I tried doing the first few chunks I broke off Gong Fu, but found there was a little unwanted astringency. Counterintuitively, that astringency was no where to be found when I tried the traditional boiling technique with a little salt. I found that the center of the cake with lots of golden flowers could be brewed Gong Fu without the harsh astringency. Brewed that way it is reminiscent of blackberry leaf tea."

Very interesting tea

"About 6 steeps in to this tea on my gaiwan and I'm really liking it so far. It really does have this almost indescribable slight sourness to it that's very pleasant, if I had to try and pin it i would say its a cross between a sweet tasting pumpkin seed and the bitter/sourness of a watermelon rind. Great after work tea but there is a slight headiness to it that I don't think would be great for anything involving focus."

A wonderful experience!

"This is my first experience of a Fu Cha, and I am blown away. The flavour profile is really different, and I love it. The golden flowers add a mysterious nuance to the taste, which remains in mouth and throat for hours. So far, I have been brewing this tea gong fu style in a thin porcelain gaiwan, with water just off the boil and two initial washes, about 15 to 20 seconds, each. Steeping time is increased by 10 seconds for each steep. I have not seen any recommendations for brewing parameters on this site, but I am happy with the results of my own attempts."

My favorite from my last order, Golden flowers!

"First time buyer for non-puer heicha here: this tea blew me away. It has a very unique taste, sweet, mellow with something slightly alien that is hard to put into words. Almost as if mildew was really tasty? I assume that is the golden flowers. This tea also definitely feels like it has more than just caffeine and theanine going on. Golden flowers also have some really interesting properties, they can slow or halt growth of aspergillus flavus which is an aflatoxin producing mold that is of some concern for post fermented teas, they also potentially have gut and immune benefits. Very interesting, big fan."

Good tea that get's unexciting soon

"I like this tea, and the first infusion is nice to offer to good guests even. The infusibility however is lacking and the tea is an object of content by the third infusion. Good tea thou, still wouldn't say excellent value"

Hard to describe the taste

"This is certainly a unique style of tea that should be tried by anyone who is interested in sampling new types of tea. Honestly, I haven't really decided whether I personally like it or not, but there is definitely flavoursome and interesting. It is shockingly different from other styles of tea I have had before. Quite sweet and honeyed in a manner similar to an aged white tea, but at the same time fruity in a way that is reminiscent of certain black teas or roasted oolongs, and all with a strong mushroomy flavour that is similar to a ripe puerh, but perhaps amped up on the savoury-ness. Will finish off my sample before deciding whether to order more!"

A very satisfying and complex tea

"I'm so glad you started carrying this brand from my home state of Shaanxi. It is very unique (I haven't tried other fu chas, but I will now): so sweet and floral. It reminds me of a dan cong crossed with shu puerh, but it's really it's own thing. If you like roasted oolong and shu, I would highly recommend this. It's perfect for a cold winter day."
