Pu-erh On Point

"This tea is OK, not as flavorful as other Pu-erh I have had, but cannot get those any longer at Peets or from Art of Tea. But it is still nice and I am glad I have some to last me for a while now. The website and delivery process was outstanding! Very efficient and swift. I will definitely use this website in the future!"

2011 Menku Grade 3 Ripe Pu-erh tea Mini Tuo Cha

"This is a very delicious Puerh tea. It takes 2- 5 gram Mini Tuo to make a 10 Oz. cup of rich tea. The soup is nice and thick with a chocolatey flavor that I really like. Will buy more in the future."

The best little minis

"I call them "little minis" because they are just over 5g each. That's why I like them. You can't break up a mini tuo, so small like this is nice. They are great quality. Watch the leaves unfold with each brew. Excellent Lincang taste and super convenient to brew anywhere. Great price for a ten year old tea."

My Favorite Everyday Shou

"Please don't buy this so that there's more for me. :-D As the title says, this is my favorite everyday shou. It has a wonderful smooth, slightly smoky taste and a really good feel in the mouth. I also struggle to find shous that have a strong enough flavor to enjoy them, and this one accomplishes that as well, even when brewing Western style (which is what I do most often in the morning). It just makes me happy to drink it!"

Perfect for home or on the go

"I tend to use these for travel sessions as they are ready to roll and break apart really quickly (usually fully broken apart by the start of the 3rd infusion). Low+ level of petrichor, pretty sweetness, no fishiness, rich and creamy mouthfeel. Great value shou!"

Best Mini Tuo Ripe

"Words are merely sign posts pointing to the experience. But my closest description is "thick, dark, smooth, creamy, syrupy sweet, earthy, chocolatey/coffee-y" and convenient. Years ago these Mengku mini tuos were the tea that sold me on the unique flavor of ripe puerh. I first tasted them through another online vendor prior to discovering YS. I'm so happy to see this available from YS. Looking forward to receiving a sack of these in the mail and reconnecting with an old friend."

Purchase of Pu-Erh Tea

"Everything we received was fantastic! The flavors and strength off all of the teas we received were great. We drink it every morning for breakfast instead of coffee. We like the smaller compact tea purchasing options as we like to taste different teas before we buy a large amount of just one."

Nice daily drinker

"This is a good daily drinker and I feel it's an upgrade in taste from the other ripe mini tou cha that's slightly cheaper then this one. This tea is smooth and has that classic shou taste. The extra age this has makes it a great value."

Jared (5/5)

Simple and earthy

"Don't mistake the three stars rating for the tea as an unpleasant product, but I want to use the whole rating spectrum. And I am quite sure that I won't order this tea again, as it doesn't offer anything special. If you want a simple and earthy shu for your everyday drinking, go for it. I would recommend to spend a few bucks more as shu isn't a particular expensive tea."
