Purely wild arbor Mengku area ripe tea! A blend of three different 2020 wet pile batches from Xiao Hu Sai, Ba Wai, and Da Hu Sai! This is a very full-bodied tea with lots of sweetness. It steeps many, many times without losing flavor.

Good

"I completely agree with Gabby H. 's comment. A good choice for an everyday cup of tea. Plus, as stated in the description, it steeps many times."

Great! Chocolatey, full and mellow

"Great! Chocolatey, full and mellow puer without any stinginess. Brews for about 10 times"

Good Daily Drinker

"4 stars because, while I really do enjoy it, it is a little more basic/ not very complex compared to some other ripes on this site. If you are looking for a great daily drinker, this is my favorite to toss in my travel mug on the way to class! If you're looking for something complex to really sit down with, there are many other great options around here."

Instant Top 5 Ripe

"I blind buy a bunch of ripe cakes for my birthday every year, and this was one of them. I'm already through the roof with how amazing Drunken Tiger is. It's got a lot going on with it! Rich, dark, smooth, sweet...very hard to describe. It has a sweetness akin to a rock oolong which is super unique, as I've never experienced that in a ripe. The sweetness coats your mouth and prickles your tongue, but in no way is it overpowering. I notice a lot of larger leaves in the cake, which I personally like. Qi is very energizing and not heady (I'm not one to talk about qi very often, but I noticed it in this one). All around an extremely satisfying and complex ripe."
