This is a potent ripe tippy grade ripe pu-erh tea from Liming Tea Factory in Menghai. Lightly fermented to preserve it's aroma and strength this brews up a bitter and thick ripe tea that is certain to impress those who like their ripe tea thick and viscous. Aged for 10 years in a Kunming dry storage condition has given this tea a nice lightly aged feeling, while still being thick, dark and complex!  Dried fruit and spices abound!

Yue Chen Yue Xiang (越陈越香) means "The Older, the More Aromatic".

Liming Tea Factory is located in Menghai and specializes in both ripe and raw pu-erhs composed of local Menghai area tea leaves.

"High quality tea."

Excellent ripe tea

"I am not good at providing tasting notes so I won't try, but I will say that this tea is one of my favorites in my collection. The first couple of steeps don't stand out much, but it gets better with each steep, with the last couple being absolutely delicious. You can definitely tell that this ripe tea has a bit of age to it.."

Lives up to its name

"Yue chen yue xiang. 12 years have done what its name promised – transformed this tea into an aromatic brew in the cup. I certainly hope there are more good things to come as it continues to age, but am already v satisfied with the performance of this shou puerh. It retains some liveliness despite being one of those comforting, easy-to-drink ripes."

Yue Chen Yue Xiang

"The first and the 2nd infusion have to be offer to the gods. I tested the 2nd infusion, it was very acid after 10s second infusion, i reinfused several times and it becoming better with bitter taste. The third infusion 10s was wonderfull no acid and bitter but a very good tea sweet with notes of vanilla, dried fruits (dates) ,something salty. this pueh is very good with smooth complex aromas and that s what i like."
