Made entirely from spring 2024 harvested tea from pure assamica bushes growing in Meng Song village. Meng Song village is northwest from the Nan Nuo mountains and is a very famous tea producing area in Menghai County of Xishuangbanna.

This is a fruity and sweet (like sugarcane juice) white tea that will improve wonderfully with age. Thick and viscous, it will go many steeps!

A Fun Start with White Teas

"My first white tea experience having just dove headfirst into the world of real tea. Got this in the First Steps Sampler and tried it first of all the teas I got. What a beautiful tea! It's earthy, sweet and floral on the nose. The flavor is matched with a subtle astringent body layered with those sweet, earthy, floral and fruity flavors. Held up for a good 8 steeps for me."

Excellent fruity white

"This tea was recommended to me as a introduction to the fruitier side of young white teas. It didn't disappoint. The description of sugarcane juice was accurate, it's thick, mouth-coating, sweet, nectar-like, and seemingly ever-flowing. Seems forgiving, as I never really got bitterness even with my 7th steeps for 2 minutes at 7g/100ml. The aroma started with a honeysuckle lightness. This was also present in the aroma which mostly faded by the 3rd or 4th steep and was replaced with a bright, smooth, full fruit body, perhaps pear or white grape juice. Don't be fooled by the dark leaves pictured, this is an approachable and light white worth drinking despite its young age."
