These lovely Cloisonné and ceramic teapot stands can also double as mini tea boats!  The cloisonné top is made using vitreous enamel on stainless steel, which sits on a ceramic base that can catch and hold a small amount of water.

Just like the art of gong fu cha, these are a perfect blend of function and beauty.

Cloisonné steel top diameter is 11.9cm, thickness 0.3cm

The pictures don't do it justice

"Beautiful little tea boat. Too small to pour washes into, in my opinion, but great for catching drips. I use it to hold my pitcher and cup to catch splashes when pouring. I have the blue one from the first image. When the light catches the iridescent (not sure if this is the correct way to describe the visual effect) background, it shows off its beautiful swirling pattern. I can get lost in looking at it. It is a well loved addition to my collection."

Lovely looking, however..

"I can admit it looks stunning. A very beautiful piece! Gives off the feeling of durability as well. What made me give it 3 stars: - if you get the model with the one single hole in the middle, if you place your teapot on the hole (can't really place it anywhere else actually) and you pour water on the teapot, I found that the water doesn't drain into the ceramic base but overflows (not talking about pouring crazy amounts of water on the pot, just a small drip, less than the 50ml of this piece's capacity). the water doesn't flow properly around the cloisonné if the middle hole is covered. this kind of defeats the purpose.. - cloisonné top doesn't fit as good as I'd like it, you have to carefully center it otherwise one side can dip into the interior of the ceramic base (seems smaller than it should by 1-2mm)."
