A nice glimpse!

"The samples could have been a bit bigger, for better testing / adjusting parameters I find 20/25gr more useful, but I certainly got a nice glimpse of the set. Some I Def like more than others, so also would have been nice to be able to get individual cakes haha. Having said all that, the tea for me is of good quality and I certainly enjoyed the tastings!"

I Had To Try This One

"I've eyeballed a couple of these 'Seven Villages' sets but never pulled the trigger because they were large and spendy. This set is smaller and priced at a point that is workable for me so I ordered it. It arrived very quickly (9 days from China to northern Illinois, wow!) and I let it rest for a couple of months before I broke into it. I chose the Luo Shui Dong to try first because someone said it was awesome. I made it Western-style using 5g in 330ml at about 200f / 95c for 3 minutes. That produced a mug of classic Yi Wu sweetness with crisp vegetal and floral notes and a hint of leather or maybe nut or mushroom on the finish. I love this tea! It's going to take me a while to work my way thru all of these cakes but I'm looking forward to the experience. If you're on the fence I'd say go for it, it's excellent tea!"
