Quite good for a blend

"I normally don't bother with this type of raw puerh but this one is probably way ahead of the pack of blended Sheung. It definitively has the Mengku character: chewing gum sweet-like taste, mineral and honey notes with a subtle citrusy note. The huigan wasn't particularly sitting in a specific location of my mouth but basically all over even three hours later after I finished the late afternoon brewing session. It was a two-cake blind purchased which I don't regret."

Daily champion

"When I don’t want to get too « stoned » by puerh tea, I grab something like this from the shelf. It already aged quite a bit, it is in a very fruity phase. The sweetness is not intense upfront, but very long lasting ! Not a dumbed down puerh. It has pleasant bitterness, mouthfeel, depth of taste ( subtle herbal medicine flavor). Just the Qi is WAY more gentle than most mengku single origin types. Gentle In the most pleasant way. It is the daily drinker champion."

It's still delicious

"I remember this tea when it came out and was blown away by how tasty and delightful this tea was. It stood up with the rest of the teas I was drinking at the time and made a mark on me and so I recently bought another cake. Still delicious. The old arbor Bang Dong Impression was also incredible. Accolades and more accolades. Thank you Scott."

Invigorating

"Fruity, grassy, slight bitterness and plenty of energy. 5/5 for this price and enjoyment. Thanks for recommending."

Value Does Not Mean Cheap!

"What a fantastic tea this is. It's strong and it comes across as fruity to me. You'd be hard-pressed to find a tea of this quality at such a good price anywhere else. I'm not saying this is like a 7542, but unless you're buying 7542's as an investment to resell later on down the road, you'd have to be insane to choose Dayi over Mengku Impression. This one has the strength to age well, and yet, it's completely and enjoyably drinkable now. Quit wasting time reading this review and just buy this tea already. You know you want to!"
