2024 Yunnan Sourcing "Yi Bang Village" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake
Yi Bang Village is an area in the northern part of Yi Wu. Yi Bang tea is special in that it is not large leaf varietal but rather a primitive small leaf varietal that has grown in this area for hundreds if not thousands of years. Like other small leaf varietal wild arbor tea trees in Yunnan (Jing Mai), the flavor is lighter and more smooth, but the aroma is pungent and fruity.
Our Yi Bang ripe tea is incredibly smooth and sweet, but with a dense pungent flavor that remains potent and complex with many steeps! A totally unique ripe tea, unlike others we've produced!
We recommend trying alongside our 2024 Man Zhuan Village production for comparison and enjoyment!
