This year we went all out to make a unique ripe blend! We blended 8 different teas from several regions and wet pile batches to create a complex and tasty ripe pu-erh that is worthy of aging! There are many leaf grades including gong ting, and grades 1 through 5 all blended together to create something full-bodied and long lasting.  

This is also one of those ripes that will show many sides of itself as the session goes on. 

A bit stronger and more potent than the "Year of the Ox" cake.

"Been drinking a lot of cha tou recently, so this came out big and bold straight from the off. It's not too strong, however, and the brew is darker than it tastes. It's a very pleasant taste however. Received as a sample. Will look to add some more to my stores."

Warm and cozy

"No wou di aroma on this 2022 production. Must be pressed from older wet pile batches. Comforting cozy and thick. Maybe has some old tea nuggets given the mouthfeel. Not sharp or acidic. Lovely clean earthy aroma. Great for drinking now. I like this more than the year of dog blue label. I got a sample of this in my package and based on one brew so far, I am quite certain I will buy a cake of this on my next order."
