2020 Yunnan Sourcing "Lao Wu Mountain" Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake
This is another cake in our "aged as mao cha" series! We've chosen Spring 2015 harvested tea from Lao Wu Mountain in Simao prefecture that was aged in loose leaf "mao cha" form warm and humid conditions to press this delightful tea cake!
Lao Wu Mountain is often considered part of the Wu Liang Mountains, although Lao Wu mountain lies at the far southern part of the mountain chain between Meng Da Zhen 勐海大镇 and Xiao Jing Gu Xiang 小景谷乡. The altitude of Lao Wu Mountain is close to 2700 meters, but this particular tea was plucked from mature trees growing at an altitude of 1900 meters.
