This is a small farmer production that doesn't involve wet piling. It was grown in a small Hei Shan area garden (Wuzhou, Guangxi) at an altitude of 600 meters, and then plucked, withered, and cured using a smoky fire!

Wood-smoke, and sweet with a caramel and roasted corn character! An incredibly unique offering that is a good choice for those who love smoky teas! This is very smoky, but doesn't taste burned at all!

Can be purchased in 400 gram baskets or in lesser quantities without the basket!

Farmer FirePit

Imagine sitting around a toasty fire…. Steam curling from your mug of tea….. talking to the Farmer about this, his special tea. Rich, smoky flavor, reminiscent of days gone by when folks stopped in at a Wayside Inn. Horses neighing in the background, the murmur of fellow travelers. Mmmm.
