This is an experimental varietal growing in the west of Wu Yi Shan township area. It's called 高山土茶, and is a perfect varietal for producing black tea.

The taste is incredibly sweet with a slight coffee roasted taste. The tea soup is ultra viscous and the mouth feel is rich and velvety! A highly refined black tea that delivers a complex but easygoing experience!

This is a very tasty, not quite typical tea for anyone who doesn't prefer citrus, fruity and floral black teas. Although this tea is not coffee, thankfully, but with a little bit of good will, some coffee aromas can be detected in the fragrance... High Mountain Tu Cha

This tea is delicious and surprising. It is has intense Cocoa and Malt notes, with a sweet flavour that lingers for ages and then broadens. It always leaves me feeling that I have never tasted anything quite so good. I am glad that I purchased so much - it won’t survive the season
