Not a "WOW" black tea or Assamica, but still good
"Brew style: 90C water, 110ml gaiwan, 3 brews of 90C at 15, 20, 30 and one brew at 1minute. Leaves smell like a dark chocolate with a hint of ovaltine and a little bit of burnt dark roast. Tea itself taste okay, can be a good milk tea base, it has hints of chocolate aftertaste, mouth feel is a little bit dry and a roasted aroma on the tongue. Its not the best black tea i've tried nor the best assamica, but it will do good for daily drinking."

Robust black tea full of high notes
"The leaves smelled like dark chocolate, dry moss and muscovado. The tea soup was slightly bitter, acidic, molassy with hints of natural corc and burnt rye toast. It has a slight cocoa aftertaste with some tartness. With a 4. 5g/100ml gaiwan and 90 °C water, I could squeeze out 4 brews, plus one with boiling water. It's not a bad tea by any means, I'm just more in favour of sweet chocolate or liqueur-like blacks."

Free sample in my order
"Got a free sample of this amazing black tea in an order I placed, it's very different from other black teas you'll usually have. The things that make it different and I like most about it is the really sweet yet fresh aroma/taste. Definitely recommend it if you wanna try something different in the black tea category!"

Incredible
"Got some as a sample. Couldn't believe what I was drinking; I don't even like assamica. It has a kind of molasses-like brightness to it that I've never gotten from any other red/black."

Great black tea
"YS threw a small sample bag of this into one of my orders and I really enjoyed it, very good chance I'll buy some next order."

Solid
"Solid is the right word for this tea. If someone were to ask what black tea tastes like, I'd give them this rather than give them something to impress them or hit them with some kind of wow factor. This is very in-the-middle in a good way that is very enjoyable. It isn't super sweet to me personally but has a more mellow lemony flavor. Overly malty teas like the Black Gold Bi Luo Chun taste off to me and this doesn't have any of that. It's a great tea that would have to go on my short list!"

A Bold and Robust Yunnan Black Tea
"This is a good black tea. Strong, with a dark bark-brown liquor. It withstands six infusions with 90 °C water, switching to 100 °C for the final steeps. Its subtle aroma carries a hint of chocolate, while the flavor combines a touch of chocolate with the characteristic base taste of traditional Yunnan red teas, complemented by a slight coffee-like bitterness. It is certainly a very good tea, just not entirely to my taste — so it gets one star less."
